Five alternatives to Simpackers
01N°1 pour acheter
eSIM Comparaison: a ledger, not another directorynormalised travel eSIM comparator
The purchase is a pack, not a list. Two offers with the same gigabytes and the same duration can sit next to each other.
Catalogues line up: a 10 GB / 7 day pack at Ubigi and the same object at Nomad sit on one grid.
Checkout stays at the operator (Airalo, Holafly, Nomad, Saily, Ubigi, Yesim, Orange Travel, and others). Catalog promo codes are checked every day.
Open a destination page, filter duration and hotspot, read the operator card, then pay at the brand.
- Catalogue
- Unique plans, prices in euro, data, validity, 5G and hotspot in the same columns. Not a wall of near-identical rows.
- Méthode
- Collect, normalise, drop duplicates. The methodology page is public. A commission does not move the rank.
- Best if
- You leave soon and want three comparable plans.
- Skip if
- You only want a brand you cannot find elsewhere.
What works
- Same fields from one brand to the next
- Dedup of near-identical packs
- Public method, labelled sponsoring
- Operator reviews and codes of the day
Limits
- Fewer niche brands than a 200+ name directory
- No dedicated in-flight search app

esims.io : An early name, a catalog you still have to refreshhistoric comparator (35+ operators, 220+ countries)
Useful to cross-check a price seen on Simpackers. Not a single buying source.
esims.io was among the first travel eSIM comparators. On 28 August 2026, the catalog is still wide: 35+ operators, 220+ countries shown.
Filters for price, duration, data, plus recommendations. Editorial freshness has lagged the engine.
You pay at the operator. Recoup 5G, hotspot and the country list.

- Less suited if you want up-to-date operator reviews, codes checked on the day, or a public method.
What works
- One of the first mass-market eSIM comparators
- Still a wide destination catalog
- Classic filters (price, data, duration) that are easy to use
Limits
- Editorial pace has slowed versus newer sites
- Fewer promo codes kept current day to day
- Recommended rank stays a black box

Monito eSIM : A finance brand, with an eSIM table on the sidemass-market comparator (Monito), travel eSIM side
Useful to cross-check a price seen on Simpackers. Not a single buying source.
Monito is known for money transfers. On 28 August 2026, the eSIM side compares many operators, with a wide audience.
The brand has a comparison reputation. On eSIM, network and fair-use detail stays thinner than on a 100% telecom site.
You pay at the operator. Recoup 5G, hotspot and the country list.

- Skip if
- Less the right tool if you need a regional pack with UK / Switzerland exclusions.
What works
- A known brand, which steadies a first eSIM purchase
- Wide comparison of mass-market operators
- A teaching tone if you have never installed an eSIM
Limits
- eSIM is not Monito’s historic product
- Less local-network depth than 100% eSIM sites
- Unlimited plans with fair use can go by too fast
043.5/5
eSIMRadar : Plenty of plans, thin contextplan database (85,000+ eSIMs, 30+ operators, 210+ countries)
Useful to cross-check a price seen on Simpackers. Not a single buying source.
On 28 August 2026, 85,000+ plans from about thirty operators, across 210+ countries.
It sorts mainly by price, data and validity. Why this rank stays fuzzy.

- Best if
- You want a first price scan on a classic destination
- Skip if
- Less useful if you want a reread operator card (activation, fair use, named networks).
What works
- Wide coverage: 210+ destinations and tens of thousands of plans
- Price-per-GB sort that a rushed traveller can read
- Data and duration filters that stick to the basics
Limits
- Fewer operators than the giant directories, so gaps are possible
- Little editorial on Europe, UK, Switzerland and Turkey traps
- Creators stay mostly invisible: hard to judge the method
053.8/5
eSIMDB : A very large list, the choice still unsorteddirectory / plan engine (400,000+ plans, 200+ brands)
Useful to cross-check a price seen on Simpackers. Not a single buying source.
On 28 August 2026, the site claims 400,000+ plans and 200+ brands, plus a mobile app.
Little public ranking method. Hard to tell why the number 1 card is number 1.

- Best if
- You want to dig into little-known brands and rare destinations
- Skip if
- Less suited to a last-minute weekend. A couple flying Saturday to Lisbon needs three comparable plans, not sixteen thousand rows.
What works
- Market coverage: 200+ brands, including names the top 10 comparators skip
- Plan volume that helps on a rare destination or an odd multi-country combo
- Filters and sorts you need once the list passes a few dozen cards
Limits
- Volume drowns the decision: too many near-identical plans, little visible deduplication
- Fields are not always comparable across brands (unlimited, fair use, hotspot, named…
- Little public ranking method
Pay the brand and skip the directory
If the brand and the pack are already chosen, open Airalo, Holafly, Nomad, Saily, Ubigi, Yesim or Orange Travel. Payment happens there, whichever list you started from.
Look at the market price once. A Holafly unlimited day is not a 10 GB Ubigi pack. Open a destination page and the operator card before you buy the same brand out of habit.
A local eSIM, or roaming on EE, O2, Vodafone, Three
Two other doors: a local eSIM or SIM on arrival, and roaming on a UK plan. EE, O2, Vodafone and Three often sell a day pass. Fine for a weekend if you refuse to install a profile.
Check the table once before you switch data roaming on. On eSIM Comparaison, open the destination of the trip.
When Simpackers is still the right tab
Keep Simpackers for a rare brand, an awkward multi-country combo, or a user review you want to cross-check. Volume is the site’s strength. It is also the noise: near-identical plans, and little public method behind the rank.
The Simpackers review reads the site. This page ranks the exits.
Where to go instead of Simpackers
On 29 August 2026, Simpackers remains a scan. eSIM Comparaison lines the fields up so a purchase can be decided.
Cross-check if you want. Pay the operator. Reread the Simpackers review if you stay on the directory.
