What we measured on Ohayu
Four checks we apply to every provider. This is not a score, and it is not a paid ranking.
Price signal
Limited packs in this sample cluster around EUR 2.36/GB. Unlimited rows are left out, and the figure moves a lot between countries.
Product shape
Ohayu is prepaid data. Keep your home number for calls and texts unless a specific pack says otherwise.
Still verify
In this sample, 52% of plans flag 5G and 100% mention hotspot. A missing flag is not always a ban. Confirm both on the destination offer if they matter.

Good to know
Ohayu,
in plain terms.
When does Ohayu make sense?+
Ohayu keeps purchase, install and top-up in one app. App monitoring and top-ups, data only. In our current sample: 1,372 priced plans across 190 destinations, median EUR 2.36/GB on limited packs. A tidy install screen does not name the local radio.
Do you give this provider a score?+
No. We do not publish a customer rating or a best-provider badge. This page shows normalized catalog fields — price, data, validity, coverage, 5G and hotspot — plus sourced product notes. A commission on an outbound link does not change those numbers.
Are Ohayu plans data-only?+
Typical travel packs are data-only. Use your primary SIM or an app such as WhatsApp for calls and texts.
How should I read 5G and hotspot on this page?+
In the current Ohayu sample, 52% of plans advertise 5G and 100% mention hotspot. Both fields are plan-level and can be missing even when the network allows tethering. Check the destination offer if either is a deal-breaker.
Does Ohayu sell unlimited plans?+
We currently see unlimited-labelled Ohayu packs in 124 destinations, including Japan, South Korea, Thailand. The label often includes a fair-use or speed policy after a high-speed allowance.
Is there a Ohayu promo code?+
We do not currently list a verified Ohayu code. Recheck the promo index, then confirm any discount in the cart.
